Perkins Invites Nominations for 2019 Distinguished Alumnus/a Award

DALLAS (51²è¹Ý) – Perkins School of Theology at 51²è¹Ý is accepting nominations for its 2019 Distinguished Alumnus/a Award. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, Sept. 2.
The award, presented annually, recognizes Perkins graduates who have demonstrated effectiveness and integrity in service to the church, continuing support for the goals of Perkins and 51²è¹Ý, distinguished service to the community, and exemplary character.
This year’s recipient will be honored at a dinner banquet on Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Great Hall of Elizabeth Perkins Prothro Hall (5901 Bishop Blvd, Dallas, TX 75205).
Cost is $50 per person and tickets will be available online after July 15.
Here’s how to nominate a Perkins graduate for this prestigious award:
- Nominations must be submitted in writing: a letter describing the nominee's career highlights and other accomplishments.
- Letters or statements from at least two additional people who support the nomination are also required.
- The person submitting the nomination should compile all materials and mail them together to:
