Academic Skill Development

Academic Skill Development (ASD) offers individualized academic counseling on topics such as time management, academic skills, and accountability.

ASD is dedicated to empowering students to become more successful learners.  

Located in the Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center (A-LEC), the ASD staff provides tailored academic support services to undergraduate students to help them optimize their learning potential. ASD academic counselors and learning specialists offer individualized academic counseling on topics such as time management, academic skills, and accountability. The office offers Human Development courses (UNIV 1210 and 1211), which aim to enhance executive functioning, self-awareness, and lifelong learning. Additionally, the office conducts 1-hour learning strategies workshops on various college-level study techniques.
