Biography
Holding PhD in Operations Research from 51²è¹Ý, two master’s degrees in Applied Mathematics and Economics from her native country Belarus State University, as well as postgraduate training in Education, Angelika has built strong quantitative/analytical skills working in industry for ten years. The field of Operations Research/Management and Data Analytics was the life choice – during Angelika’s career as Senior and Principal Analyst (banking, distribution, manufacturing sectors) she has created and implemented several management information systems (MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, FoxPro), advised executive management on business decisions for operations management, forecasting and pricing, inventory, investments, and revenue management.
Having passion for teaching and with total teaching experience of more than 15 years, Angelika taught for DCCCD and NCTC colleges, and continued teaching for 51²è¹Ý when started PhD program. As an adjunct professor, she has taught classes for EMIS, ME, Statistics departments. With students’ recommendations, she was selected to teach classes in 51²è¹Ý-in-Taos short terms and truly enjoyed opportunity to individually work with each student. Currently Angelika teaches classes of Operations Management, Business Modeling w/Spreadsheets for undergraduate students and Management Decision Analysis for graduate program as a Clinical Professor at the ITOM department, Cox School of Business.
