30 years in the pharmaceutical industry as a director of medical affairs/coordinator of clinical trials. Primary area of research: U.S. Biomedicine -- the role of clinical traditions in biomedical epistemological development.

Current position: Adjunct professor of anthropology, Lone Star College, Montgomery Campus.
