Lauren Kelly
Student Engagement
Lauren has nearly 10 years of experience in hospitality, event coordination, and operations management. Part of her work experience includes: managing the Dana Juett Residency of Social Venture Partners of Dallas; leading the DFW Alumni Chapter of her alma mater, St. Edward's University; and event and application coordination for a signature project of the Junior League of Dallas, Women LEAD. Throughout her career, Lauren has invested deeply in the personal and professional development of interns, employees, and program participants . Her career at 51²è¹Ý includes prior roles in 51²è¹Ý's Human Resources Office and the Office of the Provost.
Lauren graduated from St. Edward's University in 2011 with Honors and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Global Studies. There she served as a Student Ambassador for the Kozmetsky Center of Excellence, Resident Assistant, Service Break Experience Trip Leader, and participated as a member of the Global Studies Living Learning Community, and Model OAS General Assembly. In her final semester, she studied abroad in Seville, Spain where she studied her thesis topic: A Comparative Analysis of the Texas-Mexico Border and the Morocco-Spain Border.
