    • Receive an electronic copy of your acceptance letter
    • Activate your 51²è¹Ý email account
    • Receive an electronic copy of your I-20 sent to your 51²è¹Ý email
    • Schedule a visa interview
    • Pay for
    • Once your visa is approved, confirm your enrollment and arrival date by emailing iep@smu.edu
    • Search for off-campus housing options
    • Take the IEP Online Placement Test
    • Complete the International Student Compliance Canvas Course BEFORE attending IEP New Student Check-In

  • After You Arrive

    • Notify us of your arrival in an email to iep@smu.edu
    • Attend the IEP New Student Check-In Session
    • Clear any holds on your 51²è¹Ý account
    • Attend the term orientation
    • Enroll into IEP courses
    • Pay the IEP tuition & fees
