Joshua Yun primarily practices in civil litigation, with an interest in intellectual property matters. Joshua received his JD from 51²è¹Ý Dedman School of Law, where he was an avid participant in advocacy programs. He was a director for the 51²è¹Ý Law Board of Advocates, winner of Best Brief and Best Oralist awards at the 2022 Tang National Moot Court Competition, and champion of the 2023 Lynn Pinker Hurst & Schwegmann Moot Court Competition. In recognition of these accomplishments, Joshua was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a national organization honoring law school graduates who demonstrate exceptional skill in oral advocacy, trial advocacy, and brief writing.
Joshua continues to foster these skills in students as a moot court coach. He helped lead 51²è¹Ý to its second consecutive championship at the 2023 Tang National Moot Court Competition, and his team was National Runners-Up at the 2024 Wagner National Moot Court Competition. He also volunteers as guest-judge for the Jackson Walker Moot Court Competition, and he mentors 51²è¹Ý law students on effective writing techniques through 51²è¹Ý’s Asian Pacific American Law Students Association, of which he was former president.
