The Hart Engineering Leadership Certificate Program is an opportunity for undergraduate students involved in Lyle’s Student Engineering Joint Council (SEJC), along with a cohort of master’s and PhD Lyle students, to integrate their technical education with leadership education.

This is a one academic year (Fall though Spring) program focused on teaching skills to enhance students’ leadership development in addition to supporting students using hands-on workshop experiences, learning seminars, and individualized coaching services.

Students who enroll in this program offering will complete the Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Assessment, an assessment designed to deepen individuals’ understanding of their emotional intelligence and its importance in becoming a more effective, confident leader, followed with 7 workshops and final leadership development plans.
