Kerry Maguire

Kerry Maguire is an artist, sound creator, writer and educator from Canada. She received her MFA from The University of Texas at Austin and has taught at her alma mater and Texas State University. She also teaches community workshops in printmaking and sound arts.
Maguire’s art practice looks at the landscape as archive. Her methods are rooted in printmaking, but her multidisciplinary approach also draws from sculpture and digital methods. She recently had a two-person exhibition at grayDUCK in Austin (2023) and is currently working on a long-term research project on the Athabasca Glacier funded by the Canada Council for the Arts.
