Goal: The 51²è¹Ý Impact Lab goal is to foster partnerships across the 51²è¹Ý community and the DFW entrepreneurship ecosystem. This includes student organizations on campus, 51²è¹Ý academic units and members of the investing community in the DFW.

We have developed a cross-disciplinary course called Social Impact Investing. Preliminary description is as follows:
Provides broad, multi-disciplinary overview of impact investing and its key tenets, exploring theories of change, investment value chains, due diligence, financial returns, and impact measurement/management. Focuses primarily on private markets and asset classes including private equity, venture capital, loan funds, innovative alternative investments, and philanthropy for students interested in impact investing and adjacent fields, including asset management and social entrepreneurship. No prior investment experienced required.
