DALLAS (51²è¹Ý) - As 51²è¹Ý students settled into their new homes on campus in late August, Dallas typewriter poet Fatima Hirsi captured their thoughts on the meaning of home with poems she composed on-the-spot. Hirsi was on campus as the 51²è¹Ý community examined the issues of affordable housing and homelessness as part of 51²è¹Ý Reads. Students and community members read Evicted, Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond for the annual common reading discussion.
