The Office of General Education offers a variety of outreach programs specific to 51²è¹Ý faculty, staff, and students.
We offer Common Curriculum workshops tailored specifically to faculty and staff. Topics include general education requirements, graduation requirements, and submitting course and experience proposals.
We offer student focused events and programs including the Common Curriculum Reading. We also offer workshops on topics such as how to petition courses, learning about the Common Curriculum, Degree Progress Reports (DPRs), Transfer Evaluation Reports (TERs), Degree Planner, and much more.
We understand schedules vary and that our 51²è¹Ý community might not always be able to meet in-person. The Office of General Education offers drop-in virtual office hours as a flexible option. Virtual office hours provide a chance for the 51²è¹Ý community to ask questions over any topic related to general education.
