About

Elisa Gallegos is an Evaluation Coordinator for 51²è¹Ý’s Center on Research and Evaluation (CORE). Prior to joining CORE, Mrs. Gallegos worked with the Institute of Evidence-Based Education, an entity under 51²è¹Ý’s Simmons School of Education and Human Development. Her primary responsibility was investigating the effectiveness of several literacy interventions. Mrs. Gallegos has over 10 years’ experience in managing research projects, coordinating project activities, as well as creating and managing databases for these projects. Mrs. Gallegos has interest in studying child development and learning through a neuropsychological lens and examining the systems involving children (e.g., schools, CPS). She is also interested in shaping policy to meet the needs of children at all levels: individual, home, school, and community.

Elisa received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from 51²è¹Ý with a minor in Human Rights. She earned a Master of Science in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, Texas.
