Several Economics students have completed original research projects as student research assistants or as a part of receiving distinction in Economics.
Muazzam Gilani (Finance B.B.A., 2020) completed a summer research project titled "Structural Transformation of the U.S. Economy and Income Inequality: The View from Trade" under the supervision of Dr. Thomas Osang.
Visakh Madathil (Economics B.S., 2020) completed a research assistantship as a Hamilton Scholar titled "Artificial Intelligence, Robots and US Labor Market Outcomes" under the supervision of Dr. James Lake.
Mimi Mallory (Economics B.S. with Financial Applications, 2020) completed a summer research project titled "Panel Cointegration Analysis of Factors Affecting Income Inequality" under the supervision of Dr. Tom Fomby.
