Advising Policies
- Please note that some questions can be answered via email (without the need for an advising appointment), when in doubt, ask by sending an email to alyssawong@smu.edu.
- Economics majors are expected to check their e-mail frequently for important information and announcements.
- Students are responsible for ensuring that all graduation requirements are satisfied. The availability of advising should in no way imply that the Department of Economics assumes responsibility for the correctness of student choices.
- If you need help, do not wait until the last minute to ask. During peak advising, response times will be delayed and advising appointment availability will be limited.
