Disability Accommodations & Success Strategies (DASS)

At 51²è¹Ý, our veteran students are a valuable addition to the student body. For those who deal with a condition (or conditions) that impact the academic experience, the office of Disability Accommodations & Success Strategies (DASS) wants to help carry the load. We are here to provide disability-related support to Mustang undergraduate and graduate student veterans who might be experiencing a LD or ADHD, mental health challenge, TBI, physical or mobility concern, or any other disabling condition. Our goal is to connect you with our supportive staff, identify any barriers that exist that can be accommodated, and plug you into additional supports on campus to give you the most opportunity for success. Our work with you is confidential, and you are in charge of who knows about any accommodations approved by DASS.

Jason, 51²è¹Ý Junior and US Army veteran, offered this comment about DASS services: “DASS enhances my learning experience at 51²è¹Ý by ensuring that my VA-rated disabilities have minimal impact on my performance as a student."

If you want to discuss the services available, make an appointment with a DASS staff person. If you already know you would like to request accommodations, start the two-part process, which is detailed on the DASS website.

We look forward to meeting you!
