Ann Rife Cox Endowment Fund
The Ann Rife Cox Endowment Fund is administered by the undergraduate students of the Cox School of Business under the purview of the Investments Committee of the 51²è¹Ý Board of Trustees. The fund has assets of approximately $4.3 million, and it represents one of the oldest and longest student-managed portfolio traditions in the United States. The Practicum convenes every fall and spring semester. Each class has the opportunity to see its investment decisions in play for 5 months before a new class takes over management of the portfolio.
BBA Course Information
The course combines hands-on money management of equity and fixed income investments and the survey and application of the asset allocation and portfolio management process. Includes active investment management; student investment presentations; case studies; discussions of current investment topics; the study and applied analysis of different asset classes; and the management of multi-asset portfolios. Admission is by application in the spring term prior to the fall term enrollment and does not guarantee admission. Please contact Professor Don Shelly for more information.
