High School Instruction

51²è¹Ý Libraries values its relationship with high school students in the North Texas area. Individual high school students are welcome to visit 51²è¹Ý Libraries on their own. High school teachers may request a visit for your school group. We provide access to high-quality information and instruction from librarians on how to match assignments to 51²è¹Ý’s resources. We will work with you to plan your visit and learning objectives.

We are excited to be a part of your students’ learning experience. If you are interested in visiting 51²è¹Ý Libraries with your students, please read the information below and fill out the form.

  • All visits are subject to the availability of resources, librarians, and space. Giving a range of dates makes it more likely that we can find a time that works.
  • We request at least 1 month notice for visits.
  • Library classroom space is limited. We cannot accommodate groups of over 35 students.
  • Students are welcome to borrow materials with a guest card. Students should contact their local library for a TexShare card, then apply for a guest card before the visit. We do not issue guest cards on the day of your visit.
