OIT is excited to announce the release of this year’s Progress Report—A culmination of a year of hard work and friendly service, this report provides an inside look at the achievements and collaborations OIT has provided towards the greater goals and mission of 51²è¹Ý.


On December 26, 2024, 51²è¹Ý will switch to using NetID as the standard user name for signing into 51²è¹Ý services. With the switchover in a little over six weeks away, find out what you need to know about the switch and start using their NetID today.


51²è¹Ý has formed the Vector Governance Committee to improve the management of employee training compliance and to ensure faculty and staff complete essential courses, like FERPA and harassment prevention, using Vector Solutions as a training platform. By tracking completion statuses and establishing consistent procedures, the committee aids compliance efforts across departments.


OIT enhanced its MOS program to handle increased demand by transitioning to Webframe for efficient data management and to leverage automation, resulting in streamlined reporting & real-time insights.


Training for Course Catalog & Schedule of Classes is currently being revamped for use in time for the 2024/2025 school year. Feedback from previous trainees and user's work experience are helping to build the next iteration of this critical training program.


This month in Canvas +, we look at new Canvas Features, such as extended time for quizes and editing discussions, the transition from Turnitin to Copyleaks, and an upcoming workshops to wrap up the term.


As part of our end-of-term maintenance, OIT will upgrade several classrooms in the Collins Executive Center, adjust classrooms in the new Cox building, and repair damage to a few other classrooms on campus over the winter break.


The OIT Enterprise Data Services team has discovered the root causes of the my.51²è¹Ý logout issues and have made adjustments to make things more user friendly and correct the logout annoyance.
