Use of the University Flagpole

1.  Policy Statement

It is the policy of the University that the flagpole in the main quadrangle is the only official flagpole and is to be the only flagpole on the designated campus proper (the property bounded by Mockingbird Lane, Hillcrest Avenue, Daniel Avenue, and Airline Road). It is for the purpose of flying the colors of the United States. No other flag is to be flown from this flagpole. 

2.  Lowering the Flag

The Office of the President of the University will notify the Police Department if the flag is to be flown at other than full staff. This will occur only as prescribed by Executive Order of the President of the United States.
