51²è¹Ý has a number of technology tools and resources. Below are a list of those that may be most helpful to you during a campus disruption.
1. Email Communication

2. Canvas
Canvas is the online course management system at 51²è¹Ý. It allows faculty to post class announcements, assignments, discussion boards, and more. Classes are automatically created in Canvas. Faculty and students are automatically enrolled in their courses.
3. Zoom
Zoom is a cloud-based audio/video conferencing tool. It allows faculty to connect up to 50 students through simple online meetings in an easy-to-use platform.
4. Panopto
Panopto is a tool to create, edit, store, and share videos that also seamlessly integrates into Canvas courses.

5. Playposit
Playposit allows faculty to insert questions, facts, or links to websites in a video they create or a video found online such as from YouTube. From inside of Canvas, instructors can create an assignment that requires students to interact with the video they watch.
