Altshuler Learning Enhancement Center (A-LEC)

The A-LEC offers free tutoring and a variety of workshops helping ease the transition into the college level academic workload.  

Deason Innovation Gym (DIG)

The is a maker space open to all 51²è¹Ý students. Students can receive training on a variety of machines, and build their own projects 

McNair Scholars Program

The McNair Scholars program offers support and mentoring for students seeking to go into graduate school.

Study Abroad

51²è¹Ý Abroad offers information on 51²è¹Ý’s study abroad program and scholarships to study abroad.

51²è¹Ý Libraries offer live assistance for researching topics and navigating the many databases 51²è¹Ý students have access to.

Office of Engaged Learning

The Office of Engaged Learning offers a variety of programs centered around project-based student learning with funding. Projects from all disciplines are welcome and encouraged. 

Tsai Talks

Tsai Talks are hosted at the Deadman School of Law and include discussion on how law, science, and innovation overlap

Caswell Leadership and Emerging Leaders Programs

The Caswell Leadership Program provides students with the resources and support to conduct their own projects and develop leadership skills while doing so. Emerging Leaders is a leadership program for first-year students to help grow leadership skills and form connections on campus.  

Southwest Venture Forum

The  is a forum for Entrepreneurs seeking advice, capital, or other general information to meet with professionals to receive those things

Small Business Clinic and Trademark Clinic

The Small Business Clinic and Trademark Clinic provide free legal services to small businesses who can’t afford them.

Patent Law Clinic

The Patent Law Clinic is a part of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s and offers patent services to individuals and small businesses.
