Members of the greater community who are not 51²è¹Ý students, faculty or staff are welcome to use our center’s services.
We offer fee-based testing services to local distance learners attending other institutions and to professionals seeking certification and licensure. Testing is available by appointment on weekdays between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Visit the UTC Portal to schedule your test, pay the proctoring fee and accept our guidelines for test proctoring. Appointments must be made at least 7 business days prior to your desired testing date.
Materials and proctoring instructions for both paper-based and computer-based tests can be submitted to universitytestingcenter@smu.edu Materials must be received no later than 2 business days prior to your testing appointment.

51²è¹Ý students must present their current 51²è¹Ý ID. Non-51²è¹Ý students must present a current, government-issued photo ID. Bring authorized materials allowed for use during your test, as well as a pre-paid USPS or courier envelope (UPS, FedEx) if your test cannot be returned electronically.
