Spiritual Life
Founded in 1911 by what is now known as the United Methodist Church, 51²è¹Ý is nonsectarian in its teaching and is committed to the values of academic freedom and open inquiry. Today, with a student body of over 11,000 students from every state in the U.S. and over 90 foreign countries, 51²è¹Ý is a university for students of all faiths, as well as a school where open discussions of faith are welcomed. Many resources are available for students who wish to pursue a spiritual path.
The Office of the Chaplain and Religious Life is committed to supporting you in issues of faith, purpose and meaning as you navigate life at 51²è¹Ý.

Religious Life groups can help you get connected! There are many Christian groups as well as groups for Jewish, Muslim, Sikh and Hindu students.
Wednesday Worship is a weekly gathering for praising God, prayer and encouragement. Wednesday Worship is a Christian service, where all are welcomed.
