Morning classes: 9:30am-12:30pm
Lunch: 12:30-2:00pm
Afternoon classes: 2:00pm-5:00pm
On average, 51²è¹Ý Guildhall students work on game projects and homework outside of class 15 hours per week. It’s hard work, but it pays off! Our alumni say it’s absolutely worth it. Because our model mimics the style and pace of the industry, the work and time you put in here is excellent training for the “real world.”

Student Activities
We work hard, but we have a lot of fun too! Through our Student Activity Committee (SAC), we foster fun and community. Activities have often included virtual and board game nights, potlucks, happy hours, welcome activities for new students, and more.
Students enjoy socializing in Ford Hall's Cafe and lounge spaces, playing games and solving puzzles together, making fun momentos from their time together, and sharing bits of culture like sampling favorite candies and dishes from their home countries with their cohortmates.
Though 51²è¹Ý Guildhall's GameLab, you can also enjoy extracurricular social events such as visits to local game studios and networking happy hours with alumni and local developers, as well as special lunchtime speaking presentations co-hosted between our GameLab and Career Services departments.

TGP1 & Core Hours: "Team Game Projects 1" class provides a foundation in the game design process. The TGP class featured during this time period varies between modules. In TGP classes, 51²è¹Ý Guildhall students create games in teams. In "Core Hours", teams continue development of their game outside of formal classtime.
