Women & LGBT Center Organizations

You can get involved with any and all of the organizations housed in the Women and LGBT Center:

An organization for students interested in feminist activism

  • Hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the Vagina Monologues, Take Back the Night, and Dialogue Not Debate
  • Meets bimonthly

  • A time for LGBT+ students and allies to hang out, participate in fun activities, and participate in activism.
  • Hosts Drag Bingo in the fall
  • Meets weekly

  • An organization for women in STEM or women interested in STEM
  • Put on WISE Days, a day where 5th and 6th grade girls visit campus and are introduced to STEM
  • Meets weekly

  • Responsible for helping to organize the Women's Symposium every year
  • Meets weekly

 

Affiliate Women & LGBT Center Organizations

An organization that provides social, education, spiritual and theological opportunities with affirming perspectives on both sexual orientation and gender identity for the Perkins community

51²è¹Ý Pride at Cox is an organization with the goal of fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the 51²è¹Ý Cox community. This organization brings LGBTQ and Straight-Allies together to ensure 51²è¹Ý Cox is a supportive educational institution.

The 51²è¹Ý OUTlaw student organization is a diverse group of law students, faculty, staff and their significant others and friends who all support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons and initiatives.

51²è¹Ý Pride is the LGBTQ* Alumni association. The mission of 51²è¹Ý Pride is to provide networking for LGBTQ* 51²è¹Ý alumni and students, mentoring for LGBTQ* students, and advocate for inclusive polices at the University.
